Hampson’s philosophy is to provide our customers with global competitive advantage, wherever their end markets. We see this as a comprehensive partnership strategy that leads to a reduced customer cost of acquisition, whilst at the same time realising economic gain for both parties to share.
An essential ingredient of this is the development of a lower “blended” cost for portfolios of components or work packages. This starts with initial consolidation of our customers’ supply chains to remove not only duplicative fixed costs, but also to improve supply chain performance and, most importantly, concentrate volumes into a single, reputable supply source to generate the value that will fund purchase price savings.
Following the inload of volume, the optimum manufacturing strategy can be determined making full use of the most appropriate route. Using both our own state-of-the art facility in Bangalore and our network of low cost supply partners (as well as our existing facilities in the UK/USA), the most suitable work packages can be inloaded and managed to achieve a stepped reduction in prime manufacturing cost.
Following the manufacturing process, components can be shipped to point of requirement either individually, or as kits or fully-integrated modules, but above all, whilst being managed by the same, trusted global supply partner.
